I was pleased to present a $15,000 Lotterywest grant to support this year’s Rotary Jacaranda Festival in Applecross.

The festival once again brought Applecross Village to life, with more than 150 stallholders, entertainers and community groups creating a vibrant day for locals and visitors.

This year’s event also marked the 25th anniversary of the Jacaranda Festival. What began as a small local market has grown into one of Perth’s most loved community events, attracting thousands of people each year.

The festival celebrates the beautiful jacaranda-lined streets of Applecross while supporting local businesses, community groups and charities.


A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Applecross and the many volunteers and organisers who make this festival such a highlight on the community calendar every year.
