Local artistic swimming club SupaNova has secured a $5,000 grant through the Cook Labor Government's Game On, Girls Grants Program.

The funding will support the club's Invest in Her: Built To Stay project, helping SupaNova invest in its athletes and coaches.

SupaNova is a small, predominantly female sporting club based in Bateman, providing opportunities for local girls and women to participate and compete in artistic swimming.

With the Australian Artistic Swimming National Championships being held in Perth in April 2027, the funding comes at an exciting time for the club as it works towards becoming one of the leading artistic swimming clubs in Australia.

It's great to see this funding going to a local club that is working hard to develop its athletes and create more opportunities for women and girls in sport.

Congratulations to everyone at SupaNova on securing this grant!
